Interim Management Accountant I Manchester centre (hybrid after training)

Salary: up to £60k + benefits including 30 days holiday & hybrid working

9 month contract.

Our client is a market-leading business based in the centre of Manchester (Spinningfields area). Operating in an exciting industry, the company are passionate about their people & growth with many of the finance team completing their AAT/ACA/CIMA studies with the business over the last 10 + years. Due to entering a busy time for the industry and their business, we are looking for an Interim Management Accountant to join the team on a 9 month contract. Whilst this is only a contract role, the exposure to both duties and industry will really set you up in your career for future!

Role:

• Quarterly and annual reporting internally and externally & investor reporting
• Preparing, analysing financial information monthly & quarterly
• Preparing statutory accounts annually for all related companies
• Supporting CFO ensuring all financial reporting and analysis is delivered
• External reporting – statutory accounts, tax compliance, reporting
• Developing strong relationships with senior stakeholders both internal and external
• Supporting in management accounts production including P&L and cashflow
• Assisting junior staff with any training on process/systems as required
• Ad hoc project work
  

Experience:

• QBE or Part-Qualified/Qualified Accountant with 5+ years finance experience
• High attention to detail and strong communication skills
• Experience producing management accounts & reviewing them - essential
• Statutory accounts / year end experience desirable
• Commercially focused to understand wider business & stakeholders
• Strong Excel skills, ability to hit the ground running and be inquisitive in your approach

We are looking for someone who is available immediately OR on 1 weeks notice MAX. Please note you MUST be commutable of Manchester Centre 3 times a week and fit the above criteria to be considered
