About the event

We put together a fantastic panel of experts who have experience of working with businesses of all sizes across Tech, Media, Consumer and Financial Services. They shared their experiences and provided actionable insights on how to create a finance function for the future through digital innovation and successful transformation.

David Lee – Chief Finance Officer (iTech Media, Patch, Hometree, Mendeley)

David has over 10 years’ experience as a CFO and during a career spanning 20 years has worked with businesses ranging from investor backed startups to PLCs across digital media, ecommerce, SaaS and gaming. He’s a huge advocate for realising the full potential of finance teams through innovation and change and has led finance transformation programmes for both small and large businesses to support current and future growth. Most recently as CFO at iTech Media he oversaw the redesign of group finance, FP&A, finance operations, treasury and strategy.

Piroska Kis-Csitari – Finance Transformation Specialist (Nomad Foods, Hackett Group, ConvaTec, Dentsu, Capita)

Piroska is currently leading the transformation of FP&A for a European wide FMCG business. Since starting her career at PwC, Piroska has built up 20 years of experience across a diverse range of industries including media, financial services, commercial property and medical devices. She has extensive finance transformation experience including TOM, PMO, finance process outsourcing, BPO/SSC transitions and digital transformation. She’s passionate about the potential of new technologies to enable finance to deliver more meaningful, forward looking insights and not only support but drive decision making and strategy.

James Davison – Programme Director, Change & Transformation (Cabot Financial, Abri Group, AXA, Hiscox, Aldermore Bank Plc)

James qualified as an accountant and spent the first part his career in finance before becoming a change and transformation programme director. He has 15 years’ experience leading organisations through significant change, partnering with and advising executive leadership teams and senior stakeholders to ensure they successfully meet their transformation goals. His experience internationally has equipped him with a wide range of leadership skills that are often put to use in very challenging environments where he has developed a strong track record of success.
